Love working with this sweet family! I had the privilege of shooting their pre-deployment pictures a whole nine months ago- I was THRILLED when I was asked to shoot their homecoming!

When we got to the airport, we received the news that the connecting flight had not even taken off yet.

The airport was deserted. Soon, the arrival time was pushed back, and we watched a storm roll into Dallas.

All we could do was pray that the weather would not effect the flight overnight.

There are very creative ways to keep a four-year-old entertained at an airport.

After what seemed like eternity, the plane took off, and soon, we were able to watch it arrive on the tarmac.

Sweet little J got the CUTEST smile on his face when he saw his daddy. And that smile did not leave his face!
