So many airport homecomings this month! I love getting to see all these sweet families reuniting!

I shoot for this sweet family all the time! And I was so glad when I was able to make it to shoot their homecoming!

On Halloween, no less. Daddy got in JUST in time for Trick or Treating!

It’s a gorgeous, cool day.

The airport is busier than normal, people are milling about.

Whew, flight’s on time.

Miss Paisley even got their earlier enough to have a snack.

We wait by the window.

Do you see the plane?

No plane yet!

Mom and Paisley anxiously pace in front of the window, watching for any sign of a plane in the sky.

We spotted one! And got so excited as we watched it land.

And realized…

Wrong airline, wrong plane.

Turning around to check the board, the status has changed to delayed.

This is every family’s day-of nightmare.

More waiting!?

Every minute is already going by excruciatingly slow.

Is he here yet?

Finally a plane is spotted in the distance.

That’s it! There it is!

Sad, anxious faces turn into happy, more anxious faces.
