Lisha + Rob’s Montego Bay Destination Wedding at Royalton White Sands Resort in Jamaica

Rob and Lisha’s wedding in Montego Bay was incredible! I arrived to Jamaica on Tuesday and we enjoyed a day and a half of sunshine before wedding day on Thursday. I loved being able to take my time shooting all of Lisha’s amazing details and paper goods by Eleven + West, as well as exploring the beautiful Royalton White Sands Montego Bay Resort.

Of course, on Thursday (wedding day) we woke up to pouring rain. In my experience, rain in Jamaica usually lasts about a half hour and it clears, but this seemed to go on, and on. As the bride started makeup, the rain stopped and the sky cleared a little. The staff advised us to move the planned evening reception inside- but we decided against it, and I am so glad we did!

Just as the ceremony began the sun peeked through the clouds. The reception was amazing, under a tent, tables in the sand, sounds of ocean waves in the background. Just as we finished for the night, literally the last two minutes of the reception, the skies opened up to pour down and we all ran back to our rooms.

These two are so incredibly loved and it was so amazing to spend a few days with their closest friends and family to tell their story.

Their amazing vendors:

YOU GUYS. A few of the girls went to the bathroom and when they came back they had this guy behind him. He put on such an incredible show and had everyone screaming!

After a solid 10 hours of shooting, rocking my usual wedding ponytail and black under eye smear–But seriously, you guys were so amazing and it was so wonderful to spend the week with you.

To Rob, my new best friend, thanks for being a good sport throughout our multiple photo shoots, especially your formals when I made you touch noses with your new wife for extended periods of time.

To Lisha, your attention to detail is incredible. I so admire your ability to roll with the punches and rock whatever the wedding day throws at you. Your grace and beauty throughout your day was so amazing. Thanks for including me in so much of the week and making sure I got to relax a little too!

Rob and Lisha, the love you have for each other is so beautiful; I am hastily working through the remainder of your images so I can share them with you. Thank you for trusting me to tell your story.
