Stormi and Nick definitely win for the most unique wedding day timeline ever. Their ultimate goal was to spend as much time with their guests as possible and I think they were absolutely able to do that. I loved working with these two all day- Nick couldn’t take his eyes off his bride and Stormi was just glowing the entire day.
Also, any future bride and grooms that would like to build like 90 minutes into their timeline for formals of just the two of you is a-okay with me!
They chose to get dressed and do a sweet first look and formal portraits with me, before Stormi changed out of her dress and into a cute embroidered Columbia shirt and jeans for cocktail hour. Cocktail hour actually came before their lake front ceremony- you can imagine everyone’s surprise at seeing the bride before the wedding!
During their ceremony this sliver of light shone through the trees, beautifully lighting just the two of them- it was so gorgeous! I loved shooting downhill so that most of the background is beautiful blue water- very appropriate I think for their love of fishing!
Their reception was under a white tent in Stormi’s mom’s backyard with lights strung all around. Bay Kings Band was FANTASTIC- the crowd danced the night away. See below for the air guitar playing contest.
Stormi + Nick, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. It was such a honor to be there for your special day!
