Kelli + Matt met a few years ago and found they had a mutual love for Florida State and Disney! Last year on a Bahamas cruise, Matt got down on one knee and asked Kelli to marry him- she said YES! I’ve been so excited for their wedding at the GFWC Women’s Club of Tallahassee and I am so excited to share some of my favorite images from their day. They were married this past Sunday, three days after Hurricane Hermine tore through Tallahassee. The hurricane left 90% of Tallahassee without power, and Kelli and I anxiously texted back and forth the days after, waiting to see if power would be restored.

As Sunday rolled around, still no power at the Women’s Club. Thankfully, Laura J Artistry where the girls were getting hair and makeup done did have power. When I arrived at the Women’s Club, generators were being brought in and filled, extension cords ran through windows + fans were being set up all around the venue. Luckily it was relatively overcast so the venue staying amazingly cool.

It was amazing to see how Kelli + Matt’s friends and family came together to help create a beautiful day. They are so loved! They are always going to have such a fun story for their wedding day. Right as we exited, we realized it was beginning to rain, so I followed Kelli + Matt to a small field behind the Women’s Club. We were able to get some really neat shots in the rain, and with the sparklers that Kelli brought for me to play with.
