I am so excited to share this special story with you. I have been wanting to shoot a birth for a long time, and I was thrilled when Luciana messaged me asking me if I would come to hers. I was VERY nervous- I have never seen a birth much less photographed one. We waited for Miss Olivia for a very long time. Finally, on Wednesday, I got the call that she was being admitted to the hospital. I headed up early Thursday morning and arrived at the hospital right after she received her epidural. In less than an hour, mom felt like she needed to push, and by 4am baby girl was in our arms.

What a truly incredible experience. To be a fly on the wall when parents are meeting their long awaited baby girl for the first time. Thank you sweet Herman family for letting me be a part of this special time in your life!

I headed back to the hospital late morning on Thursday to photograph the H’s family’s older son Timothy meeting his new baby sister. It was such a sweet meeting.
