Oh man, what a fun wedding. Arezou and I were close friends in high school. We stayed in contact after high school and when she messaged me that she was engaged, I was absolutely thrilled! Before we knew it we had arranged for me to fly to Belleair Beach to shoot her wedding.

April 25th was a gorgeous sunny day. Before noon I was dripping with sweat from shooting details outside, but it was totally worth it to get some of that gorgeous ocean water in the background.

Paul and his family are from Britain, and most of Arezou’s family is from Iran. She did an INCREDIBLE job of combining the two cultures into her wedding day. They had a traditional wedding ceremony along with a Persian Wedding called a “Sofreye Aghd.” Her family spent many hours preparing a beautiful “wedding spread” with various items important to the ceremony.

The food at the reception was incredible too- Arezou and Paul chose traditional dishes from both cultures.
