What an amazing day, y’all.
I’ve known Mary + Mark for a few years now, and they’ve become like family. That happens with military friends. They become your people, your family. The ones who understand things that others don’t. Seeing them from start to finish on this journey has been truly incredible. There’s been huge ups, major downs. I’ve learned that adoption is not easy. This is one of the most courageous couples I know. I’ve watched them been through more in their marriage than most people deal with in an entire life time. No matter what is thrown at them, they power through and always trust each other.
I was there to witness and tell their adoption story. It was amazing. I drove down to Pinellas Park the night before they went to pick up their baby. Time seemed to tick by so slowly until it was time for us to leave the hotel. We have been waiting for this for a long time! To see their adoption announcement, check out my post here. We walked into the room and we couldn’t have been there for more than 30 seconds when they brought Sebastian out. I loved being able to watch Mary + Mark love on and hold their baby for the first time. I love you both so much! Thanks for letting me tell a part of your story- here are a few of my favorite images!
