Putting on some last minute perfume as it was announced that the buses have LEFT THE AIRPORT!

For any military spouse, those police lights are one of the most beautiful sights they can see.

They signify that the buses are here.

The soldiers are here.

Deployment is done.

As soon as the crowd spots that police car, the whole mood of the crowd changes. There are screams of excitement, tears of relief, and waves of anxiousness.

We bowed our heads for a short prayer and suddenly, as soon as it went silent, it seemed to hit Mackenzie.
