{The P Family} A Homecoming Story | Fort Hood Homecoming Photographer

Oh my goodness, y’all.

This was definitely one of the coldest homecomings I’ve ever shot. But shoot, I was determined to be there! It was cold and dreary and windy (as you can see with the flags) but nothing could stop the happiness and joy of the crowd.

We bundled up in blankets and hats and so much winter wear but the cold weather seemed to cut right through to the bones.

What you don’t see on that iPhone is that it says “Feels Like 15”

Just when the cold was getting unbearable, they finally announced that the buses were on their way! There was instant warmth throughout the crowd.

Sweet Bella was so focused on those buses the moment she saw them.

This is one of my favorite parts of homecomings—seeing those feet under the buses. Almost there.

It only took a few minutes and before we knew it we found Matt.

As soon as Bella got into her daddy’s arms she clutched onto him and was not letting go anytime soon!

Completely content. Welcome home Matt!

PS> Some Behind The Scenes for your enjoyment. I like to try to see how ridiculous I can dress for cold homecomings.
